Alane (song)
"Alane" is a 1997 song recorded by Wes. It was his debut single from his album Welenga, and was released in 1997 in Francophone countries and in 1998 in other European countries. It became a hit, topping the charts in France, Belgium, Austria and the Netherlands.
In France, the song was sponsored by TF1,[1] Fun Radio, RTL and the Malongo Coffees, while the choreography was created by French-born singer Mia Frye. The single remained for 25 weeks in the Top 50, ten of them atop, and is to date the 18th best-selling single of all time.[2] The song is also currently the 84th best-selling single of all time in Germany.[3]
